The first step with analytics is knowing what you want to track. What are you looking to accomplish? Do you want to increase sales? Do you want to just improve your brand awareness? Are you tracking the number of your daily opt-ins? How about your opt-outs? Which offers generated the best response? How many mObile coupons were clipped, redeemed, & viewed? Make sure the mObile provider you’re working with can actually track those things. Not all do in an efficient manner but most do a decent job. Like anything, some systems are better than others. Another aspect to look at is tracking your different keyword opt-ins vs your QR Code scans. Are you segmenting your SMS marketing lists? Or are you sending the same messages to your lunch crowd as your dinner crowd? How about using one of our text polls & asking your clientele point blank _______ what they like or don’t like.
